This year, the Airbus Technocentre is co-organising the SAMPE Europe exhibition, which will bring together many Composites players from all over the world.
The “Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering” encompasses all fields of endeavor in material and processes and federates more than 15,000 scientists, engineers and academics around the world.
SAMPE Europe is an event dedicated to the promotion of new materials and engineering processes. Operating in more than 25 countries and involved in the entire Composites industry, the SAMPE Europe will be held in Nantes this year, at the invitation of AIRBUS, with “Challenging Applications in Composites” as the main theme. Nearly 300 people from all over the world are expected at the Cité des Congrès from 17 to 19 September 2019.
During 3 days, leading actors of the Composites industry will discuss the latest innovations and concrete applications. Particularly, a conference dedicated to the Composites repairs will open the show and promote Airbus expertise with our colleagues from the Methods, After-sales and Engineering departments.
In the course of this worldwide event, the Technocentre will be present at the Airbus stand where our teams will be waiting for you to discuss your projects and the progress of the industry. In addition to the many conferences that will be given, registered attendees will also have the opportunity to visit various key companies of the agglomeration including the Airbus plants in Nantes and Saint-Nazaire, CETIM and IRT Jules Vernes from the Technocampus Composites, GEBE2 and Yaskawa (industrial robotics solutions), Multiplast and Beneteau Group (composites for the marine and global industries).
